‘False Thirst’ – a 6.9% West Coast IPA

We teamed up with the outstanding Nottingham brewery Black Iris Brewery to brew up a celebration beer to commemorate the anniversary of Sleepless. For this beer we honed on False Thirst, which inspired us the brew up a chewy, bitter West Coast IPA, full to the brim with “C” American hops for that bold upfront bitterness but enough carared malt to allow for some caramel sweetness. With a deliciously dry finish, this beer will be demanding your very next sip.
Classic West Coast IPA: Columbus, Chinook, Centennial, Cascade and Simcoe additions at multiple stages throughout the boil, then dry hopped with more Cascade, Centennial and Simcoe. A crisp and bitter hop profile supported by a lightly sweet and malty biscuit base.
